Sudden Red Algae Grow!?!

i have a lot of mangroves and nothing in my tank but 1 damsel i cycled my tank with uncurred liverock 2.5 months with mangroves they were great when nitrites were high now not as green what should i put n tank to improve also have cheato and chalerpa ,cheato doin well but grove & lerpa poor

oooooooooooooooh no. Don't shop at jacks!!!! you should have a couple maxi jet 1200's in that tank too on each side shooting at eachother

OY, now you tell me... lol, my fault... OK well i'll get my rock back even if the starfish is on there to save his life.
I'll checkout the other lfs and see how they are. :happyfish

not sure what a mag9.5 puts out, but with corals in a 75 gallon tank, you should have 1500gph flow rate or more. my mag5 has 500gph, so i'd say yours had 950, which is not enough.

you probably have TOO much algae going. i think chaeto is the more aggressive of those plants and is probably "eating" too much nitrates/phospates for the others to last long. but, it also might be your lights, what are you using?

So my first 2 pics of before and after are now before, middle and I'll have one more to add as soon as I get my camera back because I just noticed a huge difference!!!
What Can I Do?
