Suggest Power Head for mixing salt

I use a 10g tank to mix salt water
My Maxi-400 & Maxi-600 are 100% junk, they fail to do much of anything. Maybe they are going bad, who knows.
Suggest a more powerful pump, hopefully no maxi suggestions (I think they are a relic of the past, that should have stayed there)
Also, I need to pump water back into the tank, so it would be nice to have a outlet that is able to connected to tubbing.

Mag drive 3.5 or a 5 will do the trick for you. How much are you mixing up. I sometimes will use my Mag 36 if I need it pretty quickly, but that is really overkill.

Also, 3/4" tubing will slide right on to the outlet of the pump, no adapter or nip ple needed.

I use a maxi 900 to mix 10 gallons at a time. I'll be switching over to a 1200 once my new Koralias that I ordered the other day show up.

Yeah I've never heard anyone speak badly of maxi-jets.
I've got a pile of "extra" pumps around... a couple crap top-fin pumps I got 80% off at PetSmart, a few Rios that I upgraded from, some hagen Aqua-Clears I upgraded from, and couple mag drives. I just grab from the pile. It all works.
Just buy the cheapest stuff you can get. It's only mixing salt...

Lol, I mix salt with a plastic dowel. :)
I do, however, try to aerate my treated and salted water to drive off carbon diox and get more O2 in there (amquel tends to reduce 02 content, so this seems like a really good idea). Which raises a question.
I have two powerheads at this point, and one old air pump. Should I stick to using the less powerful PH (a penguin) for mixing/aerating and maybe quarantine tank flow, or will the airpump plus and airstone work for aerating my treated/salted water prior to using it in the tank?
More powerheads in my DT would be a good thing, but I'm not sure how well the airstone/airpump idea would work.
