I am getting ready to put in some fish in next 7-10 days, cycled, CUC put in and just giving them time to adjust. I have a 3 yr. old grandaughter who is waiting paitently for her NEMO, Can you guys tell me what would be good, can I put in a couple of them, I have a FOWLR tank, I want it peaceful, 90g. with 120 LR, and 80LS. Plenty of water flow, hope to add some Anemone later on once tank is older. What do you guys think, I saw some Maroon clouns at LFS that were beautiful, are these okay, help me get grandaughter happy. Thanks

If your after peaceful fish then I would recomend a oscellaris either true or false. Maroons- tomatoes- clarki- most others seem to get aggressive as they get bigger. If your grandaughter wants nemo then get her nemo (oscelleris).

Sometimes oscellaris are called false perculas. I never heard of a false oscellaris (except maybe some of the aquacultured morphs "freaks", that are hitting the market) If you plan on more than one; be sure you get them as very small juvis, or a mated pair. Also, never mix species of clownfish, a very common, tempting beginners mistake. Either oscellaris or perculas (I missed Nemo, but I think he's one of the two) are great, peaceful first fish. The aquacultured variety are especially hardy.

def. go with the nemo dont even wrry about the name. when u go to the lfs just ask for the nemo from the nemo movie and ull get it. u can even get a couple since u have a 90g.

Clowns can be mean, it just depends on the fish, the false percs are probably your best bet. However I have some tomatos that have been model citizens, Also, try to get tank raised clowns, they'll be more mellow.

Is it possible to get 2 anemone and 4 clowns, 2 for each and place on opposite sides of tank, will that cause any problem if they are introduced at the same time.

This is not probably a yes or no so much as a risk assessment. All clowns become very territorial over time so you risk the chance that two of the clowns will pair up and kill the others off over time. Some people have had success keeping multiple pairs, others have not.
In your case, you are risking a major upset for your granddaughter if you are in the latter category.....
