ok.. my last question was a bit confusion. (written very late at night).. so i will simplyfy it...
Would you suggest putting a skimmer before a fuge, or after?
and if after, and i plan on getting a euroreef skimmer, does it have enough power to use as a return feed to my tank?

I would put it before. Why, because it will let your fuge make the water that much cleaner and you dont want to skim any pods or such that happen to go through. Here is a pic of mine.

Cboyfan is right - the nutrients in the tank will feed the refugium system - if you skim before the fuge - you essentially take away some of it's required food. Skim after the refugium and you will guarantee nearly no nutrients make it bak to the tank (this is actually and excellent idea!)
As far as having the Skimmer serve as the pump back to the main tank, not a good idea, let it do what it does best and buy a pump.

Oscellaris, rverse that and you got what I said. I have been told by numerous people to skim before fuge and then the fuge will take out the rest.:D
