Sump Baffel broke HELP ME !!!

One of my two sump baffels broke as you can see, i have an old picture of my sump and circled the broken baffel, i am not going to go and build another sump or empty and reseal it, because of time constraints but i was and have been trying to reinforce it but its to much flow from my over flow to the sump so the pressure is to high but i was wondering if i could just take the baffel out what are the pros and cons of this ????? and i have a filter sock so micro bubles is not a problem.

If that is where the water is coming in from the DT and not the baffle to the return I would not worry about it too much. If you start to notice a problem you could try the putty stick adhesive to hold it, but I do not know if that would work either.

it is the water is coming in from the DT and not the baffle to the return , i took out the baffels for the return because i built it wrong, but the question is if it will make a difference, is it worth it the pros and cons or if it dosent make a difference me takeing out the broken baffel ( just yanking it out) becuae its really loose , but would it make a difference if my sump level is all one level??????

My understanding, and I could be wrong, is that two baffles work as a bubble trap. Sumps are not a necessity for a tank, they are an added filtration system/water circulation. As long as your protein skimmer is operating well I do not see a real problem.
