Hi, I Have A 125gal Reef Which Has Been Running Since June Of Last Year. I Presently Have A 30gal Sump In An Adjacent Room . I Wanted To Upgrade My Skimmer So I Bought An Asm G3. I Also Bought A Larger 55gal Tank To Make A Better Sump. Any Suggestions On Baffles And Dept. Placing?

thanks. I bought an ASM G3 skimmer which is huge so the compartment on the right for me would have to be bigger.
On the baffles how did you come up with the config. you used. Is there any set up better than others?
I'll probably go with similiar to what you did with : Skimmer-refug-return.

I spaced everything in the sump/fuge based on accomodating my protien skimmer/heater/chiller coil on the left side. I than maximized my fuge size. I'll have an exterior pump because I'm pumping from the basement through the walls to display tank upstairs. The baffles are all spaced 2". I made the baffles higher in order to increase my h20 volume. Happy to get you measurements if you like.

thanks. i'm sorry after looking at your set up I realized that the skimmer was going to be on the left . Mine is the just the opposite. The sump is in an adjacent room so I can do set it up anyways. My biggest ? is the measurements of the baffles ,height inches from bottom etc. My pump is a mag12 which will be submerged on the left side. any help would be great.
also you cut the plexi on a table saw? no problems.

Yes, I bought a blade for my table saw that was for metal and plastics. I left the static coating on the plexi when I cut it no chips/burrs/cracks at all. My first set of 3 baffles are all two inches apart. The center is two inches off of the floor. The final set is two pieces only. They are, again two inches. Let me know if you have other questions.
