Sump/Fuge in 36"x16" double doors?

I'm wondering if anyone has a sump/fuge in a stand like this.
I have this type of stand with the two doors and a 3.5" spacer(support?) between the doors. I have been trying to figure out the size of a sump I could put in there and it seems like I'll have to do a few smaller sumps linked together some how.
The inside of the stand is 34"x16" so it's a good size space but the 12" doors is the problem.
I'm not a DIY guy at all so this is really a big project for me. If anyone has a setup in this type of stand or a good suggestion on how I could work multiple tanks together I would appreciate any advice!
Thanks!

Ive got a 20g long under my 65g which I think has the same dimensions as you. You can use the 20g as a sump. I just had to put the sump tank in first. You can remove the wooden brace so you can put the sump in and then bang the brace back in.

I have the tank already set up.. Is the center brace a load bearing brace?
I was looking at either cutting out the side and putting a door there so I can get the tank in but if I can remove the center brace and not have it effect stability I might do that.
