sump/fuge setup

Who wants to help me find/build a sump/fuge? I would like to put a Coralife protein skimmer in the sump. I would prefer not to get much bigger than a 20G tank if I'm going to be DIYing it. Who has some plans and pics? I've read a bit on here and seen some of the set ups but none of them had any kind of parts list with it. This will be for a 55g tank that is already running so no drilling. I dont really want to use PVC, kinda bulky and not great to look at either. Something clean and low profile for the intake and the return would be preferable. My budget is $300 for all parts and the pump. Anyone care to help?

I searched around for an hour or so tonight and found a cpr hob refugium, the large one. It was $175 with the light and pump shipped so I got that. I hope that was the right choice, it was the biggest one I could find and the best price by about $60. My plan is to do a 3 or 4 inch sb, I think that is the most it will allow and a few lbs of live rock and maybe a couple small plants. Anyone have any other setups that might be a better idea? Also, I think it comes with bioballs, should I replace those? If so, with what?
