What do you want to contain in the sump? Do you want a fuge area? If not, its really easy to put together a simple sump. I have one set up with a 10 gallon tank and don't even have any baffels.

You need to tell us do you want a fuge, wet/dry or just a plain sump hide things like skimmers and heaters and increase you water volume.

I buy an overflow box and some pvc and some hose. Attach the hose to the outlet of the overflow and run it down into the sump and lay it in there, then get a return pump to match your overflow and plumb that up to your tank and make a little out let thing that sits on the side of your tank and don't forget to plumb in a check valve so your sump won't overflow when the power goes out. Also try doing a search and you should be able to find some pics.

I always suggest a 15 High over a 10 if space allows. The footprint is the same but you have additional 6" of height. I'm sure condork would be happy to build you one with a 15 just the same, just cost a bit more.

more important for what? The extra volume is nice and the height also helps to eliminate the possibility of microbubbles.
anyone thats dealt with microbubbles will do just about anything to eliminate them.
but like he said, he'll build whatever you want. :)
