I am using the Rapids pro wet and dry filter. Its great. I think it rated at 700 gallons per hour. It comes with a over flow box and a built in Protein Skimmer. They have a new one out with a better skimmer. I dont use the bio balls that came with it but you can fill it with whatever media you want. It is a great way to go I think. To me the only better option would be a Refugium.
700 gallons w/ a protein Skimmer vs 159 gallons That was enough for me to get it. Google it. Its great trust me.

i didnt like the eco filter that much but you never know what will happen and that 700 gallons an hour does sound alot better than 159 gallons but will the current splash the water out of the tank because 700 gallons is alot of water movement for only a hundred gallon aquarium doesn't it???

You can move the flow where ever you want it. I have the old model. I want the new one. It takes a lot to keep me as a buyer. Im sold on the rapids pro forever. I had other eheim filters but I dont even think there wet and dry filter can stand up to the Rapids pro.
