That's a great design for a sump/refugium combo, but I'm not sure that is what they are asking for.
I'm confused on the original question, but I *think* they might be asking for plumbing directions?

thanks..about overflow systems, i don't want a hang-on one, don't have a hole in the bottom of my tank, but i do have a cabinet under my display, so what can i do?Question 2: when putting in live rock or sticking hand/arm in tank, what is advised to put on your hand/arm. Rubber gloves?

Without having pre-drilled holes in the tank the only other option is to go with a HOB overflow system. As far as putting your hand/arm in the tank goes. I know some folks use gloves religiously although I myself only make sure I wash my hands and the part of my arm that is going to go in the tank. I do not use any soap as that would contaminate the tank. However, if you do not use a glove then you have to be real careful where you grab the rocks. You have to keep a vigilant eye out for bristle worms. They have quite a sting if you grab one. Hope that helps.

This is what i've done for almost a year with no ill effects. Just make sure you don't have things like soaps or cleaning solutions on your hands / arms.

You can also take your tank into a local glass shop and get it drilled. That of course means emptying and draining it which you may not want to do. Personally I'd go to the trouble before I ever put another one of those overflow systems in
they're a major pain IMO. I know some people have them and never have any trouble, but I had nothing but trouble and wet floors with mine.
