Sump Size

What size pump would be suitable for a 37 gallon reef tank. I am using a pump now and it needs replacement. I dont know what size it is. The pump is going into a Mudfilter sump.

What size "pump" for what? Returning water from a sump to your display? If thats the question then I'd say any quality pump rated slightly less than the maximum flow rate of the overflow being used. That way you'd avoid any potential for floods. I like MagDrives myself...I currently use a 1800 & a 1200 in my sump. The 1800 returns to my display and the 1200 feeds my refugium.
