Sun Coral Help

I bought an "ill" yellow sun coral a few months ago that needed some tlc. Only on corner, about five polyps, are healthy and feeding normally. The other polyps were in rough shape and rarely came out, and for the past month haven't ever come out and are dying. I try target feeding the whole thing 2-3 times a week with mysis, phytoplex, silversides chopped up, and w/e else I have. The healthy five eat and have grown perfectly, but as I stated the majority is dying. It is placed under a ledge and I've tried both high current and low current. Low current seems better cause it can grab and hold the food. My water is perfect-all other corals have no issues whatsoever. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

First thing is please post actual numbers for your water. One persons perfect could explain something to someone else>

Have you tried a dip, fresh water or idion? there could be a pest you are not seeing.

I have heard some pleople put them in a bowl to feed them. May help.

ammonia-0
nitrite-0
nitrate->5 ppm
phosphate->.25 ppm
ph 8.3
alkalinity-10
salinity-1.025
calcium-410 + or - 10
5 gal RO DI every SUNDAY
I never knew about the dip. Use Kent Iodine dilluted or what?

I like Seachem Reef Dip. The thing is with suncorals, is they are extremely slow growers. Many people feed them larger amounts of food, while I have noticed that mine tend to grow quicker when I feed them smaller micron sized food like Cyclop-Eeze. As long as more of it isn't dying off and the rest is still eating, you may just have to give it some time. Good work on saving it though.
Edit: The ones that are dying, may have all ready had their tubes damaged to the extent where they could no recover.
