Sun Corals

I understand Sun Coral is hard to keep. What do you recommend feeding them?

Anything meaty and remember to feed each polyp.

Can I use PhytoMax or do I have to have actual dried shrimp?

Frozen brine or krill will work not sure what PhytoMax is but if it is a liquid food it will NOT work.

For best results yes but IMO 3 - 4 times per week should be sufficient though.

Thanks for your help! And yes PhytoMax is liquid. I'll get frozen brine or krill. I guess I'll just feed it with tweezers?

Use a turkey baster or you could impliment the method that i use...remove the coral and place in a tupperware container with your tank water, add the brine and circulate with a turkey baster. The feeder tenticles will grab what they want and this way you will not have any leftover food in the tank to cause nutrient problems.....JMO
