Very nice and closeup shots. How do you guys manage such close shots w/out any blur? What camera setting do you use? When I do closeup shots they come out all blurry.

It sounds like you are shooting in regular mode. Try and use the MACRO mode if you camera has it.

I have basically the updated version of the S50, Powershot S60, but my brother has the same camera as you. For close-up shots set the camera to macro, the little flower icon button. Find out what your macro range is, I believe for your camera 10cm at wide angle and 30cm at full zoom. A tripod will also greatly help keep your shots clear. I like to use manual mode and turn up the shutter speed and put the aperature value at its lowest. Turning up the shutter speed will freeze movement but at the same time make the picture darker. No flash also. You may also have to use the manual focus sometimes because the camera uses contrast to set the focus so sometimes if there is little contrast it will not focus. I am far from a good photographer but this is what works for me and I think most of my shots come out well. HTH

Thanks that's helpful info I could seriously use. I guess I should sit down and read the manual some day :D

Try using a digi cam with 5.0 mega pix or more...
mind u cams not cheap. G-dude
