im looking into different halide systems and considering different brands. is ss any good or what is a good system. i want a 175 watter. is hqi any smaller than mogul. i need it to fit into a 24x13 canopy with pc's.........oh yeah is 175 enough for a 24 deep tank.

IMO 175 is not near enough for SPS. Need to start looking at 250's AT LEAST......preferably 400's. Cool touch has some good deals.
IMHO....save for the 400's and you can keep about anything.

wow... 400 watts on a 30 tall?sounds like alot of power. so let me get this straight, does wattage go by depth rather than gallons?
