Like the title says is all superglue bad, or is there a non-toxic one that is better?
I want to glue two suction cups on an old pump of mine for my tank (the other one's don't hold any more). Just wanted to ask before throwing chemicals in my tank lol.

I personally haven't used superglue in my tanks. However there is a product called Coral Glue that I have used several times with excellent success. It can set underwater, is non-toxic to your livestock and holds very well.

Super glue is fine, but steer clear of Krazy Glue. I have heard horror stories about it being used in fish tanks!

Coral glue and coralafix are the same thing (cyanoacrylate glue) just larger bottles and higher priced due to being labled for reef use. both those products work extremly well, but like I said before cyano acrylate doesnt bond to rubber for crud.

For rock you're better off using epoxy or zip-ties. Superglue isn't going to hold that well IMO.
I use the Loctite gel too. I usually buy the larger tubes of it. Anything with cyanoacrylate is safe to use. The gel variety of anything is always easier to use.

I also use the Supergule Gel! It works great and is cheap!

But the best one i used is the super glue gel (MUST BE THE GEL ... my brother-in-law used the regular superglue and when he placed the polyp in the tank it ran and his fish ate it. It glued the fishes mouth shut and he had to do surgery with a paperclip to get the fishes mouth open and pull the glue out GOOD NEWS!! the fish is fine!)
