super actinic bulbs

What brand, type and wattage should these ballasts be for a 180 gallon tank? I was thinking of getting a kit from ****** ***** along with my halide setup.

I would go with an Icecap #430 ballast with 2vho actinics which would give you 320 watts.

I agree with Jimi, except I would fire it with a 660 e-ballast. The price difference between the 430 and the 660 is minimal.

Yeah, thats true and you could always add more later with the 660.
