I don't think it's really enough to make that accusation without pointing out the ways all the other teams have cheated. It's a bit unfair to say 'well they allll do it!', but not really provide examples. Can you tell me how the Giants have cheated this year (on field penalties don't count)?
It's likely, I agree, that all teams probably take some liberties with the rules. However, when you're talking about the greatest season in football history, perhaps the greatest team ever assembled, it saddens me that those achievements come with a rather large transgression against those rules.
Another benefit to the Giants winning will be an end to the endless sports commentators' discussion about how medicore eli manning is. Can anyone else think of a time when a player was so frequently discussed because he wasn't that good?
