And your still going to say that after they beat Green Bay?
I'm a Pats fan but I know that the Giants DO have a chance to win as much as I don't want them to.

IDK the NFL is rigged for the bigger city typically, but then again the Pats have more experience cheating?

To have the Patriots lose would make this past season pointless and would already begin the next season on a bad foot.
For that reason, I am rooting for the Pats. They have an awesome team, respectable players, and the whole cheating thing was blown way out of proportion.

Honestly, read what lion_crazz said, this is getting outragous...

I would like to see history made and have the Pats go 19-0 if just to stop hearing about how great the '72 Dolphins were when they played only three teams with more than 8 wins. Don Shula and his boys should just let it go.
I am a life long Pats/Red Sox/Celtics fan and if the Pats don't win I will not complain. Sold my 'sports sole' to the devil for a Red Sox world Series win 30 years ago....so since 2004
it is all gravy!

i bet ya'll know my vote.
and all of you that are saying the pats will win by more than 13, the pats haven't met the spread for the last 8 games. so ha!
And BJoe, have you been reading up on spygate? The tapes were supposed to be destroyed (uncovered), the tape found was about jets game (uncovered), this film guy in Hawaii is starting to talk, and they found tapes of the rams back in 2002 (uncovered). So yeah, this is real. I think the pats are n way over their head and all this filming is catching up to them. Roger Goodell said he talked to the Pats and told them to destroy the tapes. So he knew and didn't tell, which is very suspicious.

I'm pulling for the giants . I dont like the pats and even less so now that they are being coined the best team to ever grace the grid iron .

If any other team were 18-0 at this point I will guarantee you their PR guy/gal would be fired if they had not thought of this also.

The 'poll' results stand at 26 Pats/26 Giants....A Vegas oddsmaker's dream come true!

the giants will lead until about the third quarter where they will lose their close lead and then lose to the pats, but still GO GIANTS

Some facts about the fins that aren't getting mentioned. When they went undefeated Greise went down in the 5th game with a broken ankle and they didn't get him back until he came in to the playoff game as a back up. The Dolphins were also in the super bowl the year before and year after their undefeated season with the undefeated season being the first of their back to back wins. Patriots really need to win it all again next year to make the case they are better IMO.

It's only neck-and-neck (the poll) because people are answering the question "Who do you want to win in the Super Bowl?" (at least I did...)
The Giants have a very, very small chance here. It's quite similar to last year, typically below-average QB plays some above-average (not great) games and he's on a hot streak, only to be brought down to earth in the big dance.
Barring some Patriots meltdown, the Giants will go home empty-handed. That being said, go Giants.

Different era. No salary cap then. While I realize that you can only play the teams on your schedule, the 'Fins' had an unusually easy ( no contest with the Pats opponets this year) schedule.
I am admittably a life long Pats (Boston Pats...I do not care for the name change to 'New England') and I know that they can still lose this game, but it is time for someone..anyone..to put another team in the unbeaten ranks. I am tired of Don Shula..great coach..but time to move on Don.

I guess I better make my final prediction... I haven't done well this season on my football predictions but I think it is all going to change today.
28-17 Giants.
Brady has an awful game, 2 interceptions and gets sacked atleast 3 times.
Moss 0 receptions
The only problem I have with the Giants winning is I don't believe that the majority of NY fans will appreciate the win. But on the plus side, atleast it might shut up some of the sports writers about how great Tom Brady is and how bad Eli Manning is.

while i'm a giants fan, it will be the patriots winning tonight.
it will go great until the second quarter, or middle of third, and then giants will choke, and eli will start crying again...
