Super Skimmer IDEA???

Ok so this is an idea I had for my super skimmer not sure if this will work a few areas I am interested in
-does the needle wheel have enough suction to work properly
-will it over heat if not in water
-willl this work at all?
-does the water exit have enough pressure?
the skimmer will be hanging on the wall...

The pump that comes with the Coralife SS in meant to be submerged in water.It wont last long if it isnt.
If you get a external pump though it may work.

LOL ...if you use the pump that came with the CLSS that is probably a good possibility.

I didnt want anyone to think it was some contraption that I had added, and from my awesome paint skills wanted to make sure I covered everythign!!! LOL

I think that a Maxijet would be ok.
May be used externally or submerged
Protected motor will not overheat
UL Approved

In my experience, Super Skimmers are notorious for overflowing.
I wouldn't keep one outside of my sump.
Just my 2 cents.
