Superglue to fix my underwater pump?

This might be a really stupid question but here it goes....
Can I use Superglue to fix my underwater pump? Yes... the part that was glued is under water.

It should work.As long as the glue doesn't come in contact with any of the moving parts.It also is a good idea to remove the pump from the tank while gluing.

Thanks, I did take out the pump to glue it.
I was concerned about any toxic effect the glue might have.

Actually,alot of reefers use superglue to attach thier prise corals to the rocks.So I'm guessing that it's not toxic...But better safe than sorry....
