I can't seem to get mines to survive in my tank I have one that was bright redish orange when I first got it. Now it looks a bit light color and lost some dark color. Do these guys need a lot of flow and also do they need a clean environment tank? The colors just fade on mines.

They don't need to be blown on constantly, no. However with the whitening of the coral, i would check Iodine and Alkalinity levels. Either one could cause this problem. All marine organisms need a "clean enviroment".

Your calcium seems good your alk is to, but just because u have a maxijet 900 blowing across it dosnt mean u have enough water flow in ur tank to me it seems u have it blowing right on it and thats not always a good thing, so how much gph in your tank all toghter and size of tank. Your lights seem good i have 14k in mine and all sps colors are good with that. Flow though could be a prob.

It might loose alittle color at first while it acclimates...jsut do not move it around or touch it. let it acclimate. Could take about 1 month. I have a Blue Monti that browned up right when it went in and a tan with blue rim. Amonthor so later it starts to color up. be patient
