superstructure for liverock

i've been thinking about building some kind of platform to set my liverock atop of when i switch over to my 75, would anyone care to share their experiences/recommendations?
i guess i would use pvc to build it but i'm not exactly sure how to go about doing it so that it's not visable. i'm not planning on doing a dsb in the 75 and would like to allow waterflow underneath the rocks.

I didn't build a super structure...but I believe I did manage to make my LR more stable and I managed to elevate mine level with the top surface of the sand bed.
I used several pieces of 4" PVC cut to 3" length and drilled numerous 1/2" holes in them for circulation....I first placed the PVC sections then placed the LR on the PVC...after I had everything assembled and stable I then added the sand to just cover the PVC. After it was complete it looks like nothing is there supporting my LR and the LR will never settle below the top of the sand.
One other thing....I did fill the PVC sections with sand as I placed them....and my hope is the numerous 1/2" holes drilled into the sections will prevent the sand inside the PVC from becomeing stagnet...so far I've been pleased with the results.

dude, you're HILARIOUS! you should go on the road with that one. has anyone else set their liverock on top of something?
NM reef, how does the finished product look? can you see the pvc?

Don't know about my finished product being "thuper"...but the PVC supports are not visiable(except one small piece that can be seen from the back right cornor...so far its worked very well. I'll try to post up a current pic of the display but I don't have a decent full view right now.
What I like about the PVC supports is that is prevents the LR from being "sunk" into the sand...they keep the LR about level with the top of the sand bed.

yeah, i'd like to keep mine elevated as well. do you have any current pictures of your tank? also, are you using a dsb or do you stir/clean your sandbed periodically? i like the way steveweast set his up but i'm not drilling holes in the bottom of my all glass 75 to install closed loop pumps. i would like to be able to do something similar though, allowing current to circulate underneath the rockwork, but i still want a "natural" look, (no visable plastic structures).
