supplements for LR/Corals

I'm picking up some new LR and plan on adding some soft corals. what type of supplements would you recommend adding to keep the LR in good shape before adding the corals? I don't want any coralline algae dying off. what supplements would you recommend adding corals? I am not sure what type I'll be adding yet but wanted to get a general consensus.

Purple up will give it some good color. Also kalkwasser for calcium and to keep your ph up. Need to put the kalkwasser in as a drip. Use that as your top off water.
