:help: does any one know of a good website to buy some additional supplies powerhead, heater, food etc.

We are not allowed to post competetors web sites or names up here, the admins. will not allow it. I reccomend doing a search on google or something or checking out that famous auction sites. Or post ur email, so we can "chat".

Well first off if your buying for a 5 gallons saltwater tank and you have never had a saltwater tank before I would say save your self the trouble and get a bigger tank or make that one into a freshwater.

What size would you recamend I can't go too big but am also not wanting to give up. It's been doing great now for about three weeks with 1 peppermint shrimp, live rock, live sand, and real filtered pacific ocean water. Only a canister submersed filter 90 gal. per hour no heater, but I have kids and my home stays at a steady 80 degrees; water temp hasn't droped below 78.

55 is the recomended for starter there not expensive and they are not to big that you need really pricy equip or experience with bio loads and such. I would say get as big as you can and as big as you can afford.
