are the overflow boxes that use a pump better than those that use gravity? I don't really want to buy another pump just to run that, cause im already going to have 2 one for the return and the other for the skimmer, and a 3rd one is just too much.

go with a gravity fed overflow. the life reef is one of the best. the cpr's tend to loose prime fromwhat i heard.hth

hmm yeah they are, i just noticed that. So does anyone know if those pumps are ok for marine tanks?

I think they are the same pump with longer power cords.

raven the money you will spend on a overflow box you could get the tank drilled and be in alot beter shape
