Hi everyone, I just wanted to let anybody who is interested, that I am running a special for my Millmod Surface Skimmers...
$30.00 shipped anywhere in the continental US.
100% of the proceeds will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I am raising money through Team in Training for the Society and will be running a marathon in October. Please send me an e-mail if you are interested in one of my skimmers or just want to make a donation :cheer:

Thanks,
Bob

SugarFox03: e-mail sent.
Moderators, my userCP is set to allow emails, however, it doesn't let them through. Is this a site wide issue or is it just me?
Thanks,
Bob

These skimmers are specifically designed for the nanocube style tanks and go over the intake on the left hand side of the back wall. By covering up the filter intake you force the water to go over the skimmer there by breaking the surface tension of the water. This keeps the surface of the display clear.
As far as fitting a 55 gal I would say no probably not, but I would need to see the setup you have.

I will check my LFS to see if they fit the aquapods. I am almost positive they will, but I need to make sure.

I trained with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in 2000. I did hte Mayors Midnight Run in ANchorage Alaska., What an awesome experience! Your skimmer won't worrk on my tank, or I would get one to help your cause. I had to raise $5400 and ended up raising $7500. Enjoy the experience. Which marathon are you training for?

Jenn,
Thanks for the encouraging words!!!
This has been one of the best experiences of my life. Everyone I meet through Team in Training has been great.
I am training for the Nike in San Franscisco. Just 3 1/2 more months. This Saturday will be my first double digit run...10 miles.

Thanks again and if you or anybody else would like to make a donation check out Team in Training dot com and look up Bob DeLisle. :cheer: :help:

Have a great day!,
Bob

My skimmers will fit the Aquapod, but the way they are configured, my skimmers just don't look right in these tanks. The Aquapods already have the slots machined into the back of the display and should have come with a cover that acts as a surface skimmer. I just wouldn't feel right about selling them to Aquapod owners.

Last chance to get a skimmer and help a good cause!!! :cheer:

If you already have a skimmer or don't need one, but would like to make a donation anyway, just send me an email and I will shoot you the website.
Thanks for the time,
Bob
