surges of air from nozzle from my canister filter!!!

HELP!!!! im still getting surges of air bubbles from the nozzle.. is this bad??? i dont know what to do.. i thought i cleaned it properly and it still continues... i have a rena xp3 canister filter..
any suggestions on what to do????

Have you checked the return and intake connections to see if they are leaking?

How long have you had it running, how often does the air come out?

I have the same thing from my fluval 304. Every now and then tons of tiny bubbles.

i have cleaned it twice already and i ve had it for about 4-5 months now... i checked the tubes and they appear to have some yellowish brown stuff attached on the inside of the tube where the water flows... wonder if i cleaned the tubes that it would help with the air pressure or get new tubes i dunno...:help:
