Whats, in your opinion the best attive to add, to help flourish the coraline on your live rock? I've been using Sea Chem Reef Calcium.(Seems to being doing OK, but I want to know what every one else is using.)

I just ordered some Coral-Vital and Kalkweisser. I heard it was very good. I recently lost almost all my coraline algae so i needed to buy something. I'll keep you posted.

i also use sea chem reef advantage and also sea chem reef calcium to keep calcium levels at about 400. i have to add alot to keep my calcium at this level (2 teaspoons each day), but this product also maintains strontium. it's expensive at lfs, but much less if you order it on line

I use reef builder and reef advantage in powder form. And reef calcium, reef advantange and reef plus in liquid form. When I add top off i use RB three times and RA powder on the fourth. I use reef calcium and reef advantage liquid once a week and reef plus every other day. It's a pretty good formula that seem to work for me.

Good suggestion, Ranger. I also have been using Reef Vital DNA by Marc Weiss for awhile now & it truly is amazing stuff! A bit spendy but, it does work - for me anyway. One teaspoon will do 100 gal. so you don't have to use alot & you don't have to use it everyday. Good stuff!!!
