Survey: How often do you change your lamps

Successful reefers how often do you change out your MH and PC lamps.

halide moguls... 9-12months
halide double ended (supposed to go 12 months or more, havent gotten there yet)
PC... 9 months
VHO... 6-9 months (actinics seem to go faster than whites)
all based on 10 hr a day usage.

I agree with SolonFairy, but to get a real picture of your bulbs you might want to purchase a lux meter and measure the bulbs brand new and then with burn in time on them and then at the recommended changing period, to see how far the bulbs do fade and if they actually fade faster...JMO
