When you move are you planning on taking the tank with you, or are you planning on selling everything?
If it's a local move, and you plan to take the tank than it wouldn't be a big deal. I have helped several people move SW tanks. It just takes a lot of time, and FW tanks are much easier to move.
If you plan to sell everything and start over I would not spend much money on a tank. You'll never get back nearly what you spend on it. Of course if you did a FOWLR you wouldn't need to dump a ton of money into the tank. If you want a reef it wouldn't be worth it to spend the money now, only to sell it in a couple of years.

FOWLR means Fish Only With Live Rock. With a 45g you are definately do able with saltwater.

Yup I agree. A 45 wouldn't be that hard to move.

I could get a FOWLR and convert it to a reef when I'm good enough to keep water peramiters stable. Thanks for the input.
