Maybe "awesome" was a bad word to refer it to. I think it means something good.
I heard it on the "America's Best Dance Crew" TV show. They used it like this...
"You guys were swagger tonight... really brought a good game to the dance floor... poppin' it and in sync with each other..." <-- something like that.

i watch that show... it is consistantly used as "you guys brought your swagger tonight"... or "you have your swagger on"...

RIGHT! that's what I mean. I'm glad I'm not the only one who watches that show haha. RU, having heard it from the same source, do you feel similarly about it being an unusual word for TV? I mean, I don't think I've ever heard it on TV aside from the Old Spice commercials.

Sounds like it is being used the way that that word is intended to be used. The way that you carry yourself or move...

i have watched that show since season 1... its good time with my daughter... gives us somethin to talk about when project runway isnt on...
i dont think its odd at all... the way its used it means an attitude... and in between all of the "ya alls" lil mamma and shane sparks might have learned a new word... they arent saying that they ARE swagger they are telling them that they HAVE swagger... see the dif???
