ok so I have a reef setup and I want a spotted sweetlips. I have heard that you can't put them in there but this site says it is ok. Has anyone ever tried?:help: :happyfish

To my knowledge, the major problem with sweetlips is that they will only eat live brine shrimp... I beleive they are completely reef safe, but do not buy one unless you watch it eat!!!

You'll need a much bigger tank eventually. I read that spotted sweetlips can grow to over 2ft long.

dang I didn't know they grew that big. I am looking for a 72 bow front now. it would be a little bigger.

I used to see them at a LFS here and thought about getting one, till I learned how big they get. Can u imagine the food bill at that size.
