SWF.com cleanup crew ...

I keep hearing people talking about this cleanup crew. Is this the Reef Packages or is there something I'm not finding?

Can someone recommend a cleanup crew for a 125g with 150lbs of lr and a 1/2" ls bed?

Hey James,
Just scroll down in Reef Packages and their is a list of all the clean up packages they have. They give you an idea for all tank sizes.

With all the negative publicity crabs have been getting, I'm a little nervous about putting them into my system ... but all the pre-built crews have crabs.
Is there another scavenger that does the 'good things' a crab does?

You can go to the you build it section and build one with out crabs if you like. I would definitly get trouchus snail over the turbo snails. They cost 3 times as much but they do 10 times the work so you do not need as many and they don't die. If you have a DSB definitly get about 8 fighting conchs. They will be your favorite. I have 4 and they are the greatest thing.

Careful on the crabs !!! I have 3 sitting in my refugium because once I started adding my corals they began nibbling. Sallylitefoot, decorator, and an emarald are all POW's in the refugium because of this. I'll take them to the LFS but I should not have gotten them in the 1st place. Having said that - the scarlet hermits I got from SWF have been very entertaining and have not even looked at my corals yet - at least that I have seen.

mlm -- I haven't been able to get back on in a while so this is in responce to an old post.
You say "If I have a DSB get fighting conchs".
Well I have about a 1/2" LS bed. Will fighting conchs still work? If not , what will?
I just added all LS and another 100lbs of LR. I'm now getting a diatom blume from hell.
