Their livestock is tople notch, I have always been pleased with my orders from here......They charge $20.00 for fuel surcharge and boxing, which still is the cheapest charges from anywhere. You will be satisfied

I have spent a little over $2500 here. Mostly corals and inverts, oh yea, several fish too. The corals and fish are awsome. The corals are usually bigger than they say. They usually pack a few extra inverts. (snails, crabs)The only problem I have ever had with the inverts is that one died. They replaced it no questions asked.
A+++

I bought my first corals from this site. umbrella mushrooms, multirock and chrismas tree coral. went very well. the only reason I dont buy here is because selection is always too limited. same stuff is always available and everything else hardly ever.

Got my order today. All of the corals were great! Unfortunately my cleaner shrimp was dead upon arrival.
I'm also frustrated about the 15 day guarantee. If I would have emailed within two hours of the shipment I could have gotten a refund, but I didn't learn that until the 3rd hour. Now I get credit (and I'm guessing I will have to order another $79 worth before fees) before I can get a shipment. That sucks!

(2) of the 5 were DOA. By the end of 2 weeks, only 1 made it!
They were easy to deal with. Only the credit thing sucks!

Well 2 arrived DOA, 4 died within 13 days in QT. Got $163 credit!
When I tried to order about $95 of livestock, I was told I can only use $35. Hmmmm!

i doubt that was a problem with swf.com, more likely something on your end.
your saying they sent you 6 unhealthy fish? i find that hard to believe.

2 were DOAed and "something on my end". The other 3 kept hitting the wall in the QT, again "something on my end". They only last 2 days in Hypo. The last one showed ichs the 1st day in QT. After 10 days in Hypo, he passed away.
Again, the bodies were sent back to them and they refunded. Thus admitting culpability.
It is their credit policy that smells.

I think it was determined that there was something going on with your tank though right? There was alot of shifting around between tanks, rapid salinity decrease (even for hypo), and overcrowding. DOA's can happen to anyone, as carefully as your package is labeled for live animals, there are still plenty of minimum wage freight handlers that may not care if you receive them alive or not. That can happen to any package, it happens when the LFS's receive their shipments as well. It is simply a side effect of transporting animals.

i order from another site even tho it chrg $35. their corals are cheaper and hv better selections, so thats makes it up for the $15 diff in shipping.
