I acclimated my Flame Angel and Blonde Naso today for 3 1/2 hours using the drip process, and before adding them I tested both the salinity in the bucket and the aquarium and found them to be the same . The flame looked great out of the bag, considering what it has been through. The naso didn't look good at all, which they said could happen (laying on the side and breathing heavily). He is doing such that, but it looks like the used a hook to cath the guy. When he is breathing a flap of flesh (atleast thats what it looks like) goes in and out of his mouth...
Is this something normal, or something not normal but alright, or something bad?

Sounds bad..Most of the catches these days are done using nets, your Naso may have been snagged during capture - I would suggest you get on the horn and let SWF know immediately about your fish.
They will most likely replace him.

Went to my parents to pick up a trailer...came home RIP Blondie. I was reading there guarantee thing, I can get the credit on my next purchase (which these won't probably be this cheap again), or pay $29.99 for shipping on a replacement...which is BS. So who knows, I may just let the credit build up because I don't want to buy another $45 worth of stuff to get one fish!

I have a $15 credit for a DOA lawnmower blenny,,,but,,,I am under the impression I have to make another $75 order ( not $60) to get my replacement.
That kinda sucks too.

Thats a good point, I bet they would make me spend $75 besides just $45...dangit!
And the Blonde Naso was like the dream fish I wanted, one of my favorites I have found!

Not to be a stickler, but you just publicly announced you DID NOT follow the instructions they gave you.:D :D :D I have seen their instructions many times. You did it the way you thought was best, but still, you probably shouldn't announce that you didn't follow their instructions......just a tip. This is just the way it is, and it doesn't matter where......fish tend to not like being shipped across the country in a bag......I would let them know, and wait until I ordered again to add it on. Did you leave the lights off? You say it had a thingie going in and out, so it doesn't sound like it....how could you see.....it does help lessen stress. Anyway, make sure you let them know ASAP. If you wait, you will lose out.

where does it say I didn't follow the instructions? In fact I did exactly what is said in the sheet of paper that comes with the fish...using a shot glass add a glass full of water from the tank to a bucket with the fish in it. And yes the lights were off, I noticed it when I turned them on like 5 hours later
Yes I have to send it back, it is in the freezer at th e moment like it asks
