Before I purchased a fish from SWF.com I did a poll and most everyone said they had a positive experience with them. I ordered a fish around 9 days ago and still no word on when it would go out. Anyone else having this type of "problem". It's really not a problem but I thought it would have been sent by now.

It can take a week sometimes to fill the order. So depending on when you ordered it it could very well take this long.
BTW I had to wait that long as well. Don't worry yet.

I ordered a clean up crew about a week ago and specifically asked for it to be delivered on a Friday,(when I am home) and I got a email today saying it is going to be here tomorrow morning when I am at work! I am not real pleased but I have heard a lot of good feed back so I am hoping this is a one time glich.

Somewhere in the site, I think it is in the order form, it says to expect a one week delay on your first order (for processing.) If this is your first order, than there shouldn't be any problem.
My first order was a clean up crew. I asked for a specific day and it was there. Great service.

Yeah don't worry, I bought a cleaner crew it took about 4 days to respond with a delivery date. They sent it out overnite. FEDEX delayed the shippment due to the bombing of NY. I had lost several snails and Scarlets. SFW replaced all no questions free shipping. Be patient I bought from other sites, lets just say to test the waters. Not the same service. Cracked Stone corals and crushed frags. By no means am I selling SFW, but when you get screwed over once your don't back. These florida boys got it going on.

I just got a phone call from SWF, they were very apologetic about what happened and are redirecting my order so someone can pick it up. So I take back my bad thoughts about SWF. I wasn't expecting such prompt attention.

i must be the only one on earth that cant get past the order form on this site! ive tried everything, email,called them(ya,I wanted to talk to a machine). they just dont want my money, i guess! but if anyone knows where i'm going wrong please tell me. when do they ask for the credit card #, before or after shipping info? please help!!!!!!!!!!!

I was having the same problem. So I wrote them a stern letter letting them know how unhappy I was with their service.
I received an email back from them. They are very apologetic and they told me the reason for all the delays. They are in the process of expanding operations.

UPDATE: I just received my fish. They must have sent me an email last night. The fish arrived before 9 am so it took just about 9 days. I followed the acclimation process and so far the fish looks great. He is under some shock and sitting on the bottom of the tank but I'm told that is to be expected.

I ordered a Blue Hippo tang (small) and he currently is in my Quarantine tank. I went home for lunch and checked him out and he seems to be doing fine. He is out moving around, an improvement from lying on his side when I put him in, and ducks behind the rocks when I come to look at him. I have been waiting to get him for months now so I am real happy.
