I got my LR from this site (it was exactly 20 pounds with the packaging and all...darn. I was pulling for 25 =P). The shapes and sizes of the rock were nice. They work really well for my 29g. Unfortunately, I didn't get any hitchhikers. The rock had bits of color on it here and there. Overall, I was somewhat satisfied with the purchase. I wish it had had more life and color on it, but I guess I can't expect all of that stuff when it took almost three days for it to reach me. A lot of the stuff on it died then. Here's a picture of it right when I put it into the tank (I haven't taken an updated picture, but it has some more growth on it now).

Hey lefty, do you think you would have more hitchhikers and more color if it would have shipped next day or 2nd day?

i just received mine a couple days ago. to be honest i wasnt too satisfied, but now that it is in my tank and set up the way i like im feeling better about the purchase.
i am from california and it got shipped out on wednesday, and got to my door friday at 12 in the afternoon. i wasnt home and had to get it from fedex at 5pm. if i could do it over i would have selected to pick it up from fedex as i was home at 1pm but i had to wait til 5 to get it.
i had little nasty fly things in side mine flying around. there was no water in the bags. hardly any paper covering the rocks. they also sent me 20lbs exactly with the packaging and i feel that it wasnt as good of a deal as i first thought it was going to be. for 30 dollars more i could have had stuff from the lfs with croaline and growth all over it. instead i got some pieces with no color and nasty fruit flies.
"Saltwaterfish.com offers the very best Ultra "Pre-cured" Fiji Live Rock. Each piece that is shipped to our customers is hand-picked for size and coralline coverage."
that is what they say for live rock. there is no coraline, there is no "premium."
but whatever its in my tank and overwith and i guess that is less of a headache to deal with.

I would imagine so. But it didn't appear as though it had a whole lot on it to begin with.
I forgot to mention that I had a huge amount of dead brown pod-like things all over the rocks. A lot of them came off when I scrubbed the rocks before putting them in my tank, but a good number of them came off in my tank. So that was a fun experience trying to pick them out of the sand and out of the water. I can't complain too much now, though. I've had the rock for a few months and it's not going anywhere. :)
