SWF Live Rock

Just wondering.............Has anyone purchased live rock from SWF? Was it fully cured and how did it look? Any pictures?

ifit's anything like ordering anything else from them you will probly order 50 pouns LR and 20 LS then only get the LS and not get an email back about the issue. GL

I have ordered from LR several times from swf.com and been happy with the rock and their service. I would cure rock that I received from anyone/anyplace to make sure I am putting 'healthy' rock in my tank...

Usually rock is cheaper online but you can't 'cherry pick' it like you can at a LFS. That is the obvious trade off.

Their LR is great for starting a new tank. Because it is being shipped, though its cured, you get some die off which helps cycle a new tank. The price is great, and lots of nice color, sizes and shapes. Highly recommend buying it, I have done so every time i started up a new tank and was never disappointed.

I didn't find any obvious hitchikers on my 45 lb order. I got a pretty good mix of big and small rock. How many? Hard to say.

Just when I thought my rock had no hitchhikers I spot five small feather dusters. They just decided to show up. Kind of strange. I did start using RO water so maybe that has something to do with it.
