swimmer4uus's Nanowave 9 project

I saw Detane's NANOWAVE 9 project thread, and decided I wanted to buy the tank. Unfortunately (acutally fortunately) my girlfriend beat me to it, and had one sent to me before I could buy one. So I've got the tank leak tested, and it's now sitting next to my bed cycling with 12 pounds Tonga Branch Live Rock. Here's a couple pictures, but not good quality. Should get better ones tomorrow.

I stayed up all last night playing with this thing. So...with the little access lid closed, the temp of the water stays at around 84-85. With the lid open, it stays at 80-82. But I still have to find a way to open up the side vents more, and I'm actually shopping for a drop in chiller to go in the fuge in the back, just don't know which one yet I should get.
Still a lot of reading to do on that, but for now I'm just monitoring the heat levels on the tank, and using the lights as a heater so far.

yeah, me too. I'm taking this one under my wing, and kinda letting the roommates take over the 55 in the living room. I've got 5 different packages coming in the mail at the moment for this tank, but I just couldn't resist getting the cycle going. thanks

50W submersable heater in the fuge
Drop in chiller (possibly, still reading on it)
Cheato for the fuge (but I don't know when to add it, still reading)
Digital Thermometer
Koralia Nano
plus some extra wiring goodies I've got planned.

He hasn't answered my pm yet so I wait.
On a side note, I was told that my girlfriend bought a whole bunch of stuff for me....can't wait to see what it was cause she has my whole wish list.

Also, I went to a fish store I just learned about, way close to me, just a couple streets, and found a piece of live rock with the PERFECT shape, and covered in purple coraline algae and tons of green hair algae...I had to buy it. Hope it won't die, and will also help with the cycle.
