switched from crushed coral

i recently set up a new 55 gal tank for my girlfriend...i am used to using crushed coral in my personal display tanks...the question i have is: for how long after initially putting the sand in the tank will the cloudiness start? everytime that i move the rocks around the whole tank gets cloudy...once i have goby's and such while they are going through the sand will the tank get cloudy even down teh road?

did you rinse the sand before hand?

ummmmmmm....not exactly....i always rinsed off my crushed coral i didn't think that i'd need to rinse off the sand...it is bahama something sand from teh bahamas....i tired rushing i guess and over looked some little yet important things....
