Switching Salt Mixes

I was considering changing salt mixes and was curious on how I'd go about doing that. Would I just go ahead and start using the new stuff, whenever I do a water change or is there another way. I know, probably a dumb question, but it's better to ask, than kill off a whole tank.:notsure:

dont sweat i asked da same question when i first began but at ma lfs nope its doesnt matter when u buy ur salt juss use that during water changes there is no special thing u hav to do

It does matter what brand you use, but only to "you".....
Regardless of what brand you use, make sure your sp/salinity is always the same. That does not differ between brands. Don't let it differ much. Don't forget about evaporation. That can raise the salinity quickly, if you don't top off every day or so. You can also lower the salinity/sp quickly by topping off to quickly, with a lot of fresh water.
