switching tanks

I'm going to go from a 55gal to a 90gal soon. My ? I wont have to recycle the tank with new water would I, I'm going to add the water from the 55gal but I dont know what I will have left to fill. It's going to remain a FO tank, I'm going to get already premixed saltwater from the local fishstore. Also I going to keep the cc is that fine since it carries most of the bacteria I need. Any help would be fine thanks jay

Save it all. It will be like doing a really big water change. Just be sure to match the temperature and keep the ph and salinity the same during the xfer.
