Good luck with your freshwater tang aquarium.
Its actually called a fish only tank brainwave
.
I'm not too worried about the maintenence, because it will look WAY better than what it did. There will be no coraline because there is no live rock, and coraline cannot just grow on its own, it needs to be introduced. I am contimplating installing a sump and having live rock and some nitrate reducing plants in there.
Update:
I have sold my live rock and my 4 fish, all that is left is 130 lbs live sand, water, filter, powerhead, heater. I will be starting back up again once i get back. I was thinking as far as a future stock list
1 tang (still not sure, maybe powder brown, or a boring old yellow)
1 angel (probably a dwarf, as normal angels get HUGE)
1 pink square anthias
2 True percula clowns
2 gobies (yellow watchman, purple fire fish)
1 purple pseudochromis
Might be a bit much, however its still in the early stages.
And probably a 5 dragonettes, a blue ribbon eel, maybe like an achilles and a powder blue tang, and naso, and a shark, i really want to recreate the ocean
