synthetic rock

i just added about 20 lbs of a synthetic rock to a 90 with about 100 lbs of well cured live rock [about i yr old] do you think i need to look for any changes in my water parameters?

the rock is "cultured in the bahamas and is a composite of crushed coral and sand and portland cement .its very porous and light and looks like fuji rock. hasn' anyone had exp with this if its good the reefs will be better off,no?

Was it dry when you put it in ? or was it "live" ?

it was synthetic rockthat was just 'harvested' it was dry or base i guess. nothing was on it

If the rock was shipped dry, without newspaper, I would assume that it never was live, meaning you would have no dieoff adding it to your tank, so no, I wouldn't worry about changes in the params. JMO
