Synthetic Salts. . . (no fighting please)

Can someone help me out and give me a comparison of the major salt brands out there. I happened upon a thread where someone said Oceanic was highest in Calcium levels and I tested it and sure enough it was right around 500, which is too much for my tank right now.
So I was wondering if anyone had any data on the major brands so I don't have to go buy all of them to try them. Recommendations are fine, but I'm not trying to get an argument started over which brand is better. The only ones carried down here are IO, Oceanic, and Coralife, but one LFS told me they could basically order anything I wanted for me.

I have found IO to be the best for my tank. It has great levels of everything, and is easy to calibrate. I know I need to boost calcium and alkalinity, which I accomplish easily and safely with b-ionic. Magnesium every once in a while.
But really, any salt is fine. It is knowing what is in it by doing YOUR OWN tests on every batch of salt, and making up the difference in the tank. Do not trust the tests the manufacturers do. aver new bag/bucket of salt will be slightly different. I test every new batch i buy, then once again halfway through.
Oceanic is the only one I would stay away from for now, as its calcium level dictates it is best for a tank heavy with hard corals, which deplete calcium fast. It seems people have a lot of trouble with alk/calc balance with oceanic.
