t5 lighting question.

Hi everyone,
This might not be the right forum, but I had very helpful responds in the past from this newbie forum, so I will try to get help here. I have 60 gallon tank with 260 Watt of PC lights, and I am trying to add extra actinic lights. I am looking for a SINGLE T5 actinic light strip/fixture (need to be very slim though since I don't have much extra space on my canopy). If any of you are using something similar (especially those of you who used metal halide, u need to add actinic light seperately, correct?), could you guys please tell me the name of the light strip, the brand, so that I can search on the net? Thanks in advance.

If it must be very, very thin, consider buying the ballast, end caps, and bulb separately and building them into your existing canopy. We can't post competitor sites here, but if you look for a retro kit, it may be what you need, depending upon your canopy.

Sorry, can't say where we can find them. Just try searching for "T-5 Retrofit kits" I'm sure you'll come up with something. btw, get the 460nm blue actinic bulb. (not the 420nm)
happy reefing!

Could you tell me the brand name of the product? and may be the wattage of the bulbs? Thanks. I saw some nova (current USA) brand, but the watts is only 20 something watts for 48 inches, which I think is pretty low.
