T5 suggestions

Hello, looking at T5 fixtures. Would like some suggestions on which brands are good. I currently have a current nova extreme 4 bulb fixture on my tank. It appears one of the ballast is shot, because 2 of the lights are not working, so I am looking at a new fixture and will use this one as a back up. Thanks.

Also, any ideas of who I would bring this to to repair the ballast, if it is in fact a ballast. My husband and I took it apart, but did not want to go over board. Didnt want to lose the current 2 lights that are working! Coral would be even angrier!!!

I'm assuming you're running a 48" fixture. I have had three ballasts go out on my Nova Extreme 8x54 fixture. I bought my replacement ballasts from ballastwise. Model #DXE254HO5. Very easy to replace.

If you're not a budget, then go for Aquactinics. If you're on a budget, TEK, or the new Nova Pro would make good choices as well.

Thanks for the replies. I will look into that ballast. I'm running the Nova Extreme with the four lights, so 2 of those four are out. Not good. Fortuneately I have coral that is forgiving, so everything should be ok for a little while until I get a replacement. Not sure about budget yet, I want to get something I wont be replacing again, since the first light was $300.00! I bought locally, when I should have bought online-paid about a $100 more than I should have! I will look into all of those brands. Thanks for the input.
