I'm considering T5's for my 72 gallon bow front. I'm definitely going with the 54w bulbs, but I’m not sure if 4 bulbs would be the best option for my tank. I don't think I can fit a 6 bulb fixture in my canopy. Can someone please advise? Thanks in advance for your help.
i just posted on ur thread on --, but im wrong because i didnt know u wanted sps, the 6 bulb will be more than enough but the 4bulb will be a tid bid under. but i think the 6x54w tek fixture is 15-16" wide....how wide is ur tank?
At the ends my tank is only 13" wide. I looked at that fixture, but it won't fit inside the canopy. If I can't find a six bulb fixture that work I was going to go with a 2 150w DE HQI fixture. I was trying to avoid the heat issues by sticking with the T5's.

What LFS's do you know about and like?
have you thought about buying the canopy without the lights and putting them in closer together? doing it like that you could probbly put more if needed. my T-5 is about 1in wide tombstone and everything

Do you have a picture of your set up? What types of corals are you keeping under your T5's?
